“LDWF was able to confirm in a site visit this afternoon that the air conditioning unit within the tiger’s habitat was working and the tiger does have access to the enclosed den area.”

Pathetic that Tony's entire life (if you can call it a life) has been spent in a cage as a tourist attraction at Tiger Truck Stop. Not only has he been exposed to diesel noise/fumes 24/7 for his entire life. He has been in solitary confinement with little, if any, enrichment in his life. He has just existed and congtinues to exist under these circumstances.
ReplyDelete:-( as we can see on this pics, the bars to his den area are closed, we can not see on the pic if the air conditioning unit is working or not, but it is a fact that it will be cooler in the shadow also without the unit, as it is outside. For everyone who will test this, pull down your air conditioning unit at home, open in one room the window and make it dark in the room, you will see that the temperature is the same like in your other rooms, but it feels colder in the dark room like in the others if you are stay in the dark, try it !!! Everyone who lives in hot climat areas, like desaerts know this ... :-(
