Majestic to be born but was to be chained for whole life,
Where humans talk about saving the endangered species,
They take me to be their pride and make lots of money,
With no proper care or proper place to live on,
My cries are drowned as I plead you to be my voice.
Abused and brought to perform as you all have fun,
It irritates me there are no one to help me get free,
The government is not bothered about the many that are there with me,
The laws have never been changed and you keep us as pets,
We are to be in the jungle freedom that we strive for,
My cries are drowned as I plead you to be my voice.
You are my voice just not me Tony the Tiger,
You are my voice for the million other animals that’s caged everywhere,
You are my voice to set us free in our natural habitat,
You are my voice to end the cruelty and abuse of all animals.
I Tony for the last time plead you to set me free before I die chained forever….

This poem is dedicated for Sky Williamson fight to to get Tony the Truck Stop Tiger Free
Tony is a 12 year old Siberian/Bengal tiger used as a roadside attraction at Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete Louisiana. Tony’s owner, Michael Sandlin bought, sold, bred, and exhibited tigers for over 20 years. In 2003, because of violations Mr. Sandlin and the USDA made an agreement {after Sandlin threatened a lawsuit} where 3 of the 4 tigers he owned, Toby, Khan and Rainbow, were sent to Tiger Haven in Kingston TN. The USDA reduced the fines and allowed Mr. Sandlin to keep one tiger, Tony.
