UPDATE July 13, 2022: FREE Tony the Truck Stop Tiger held hostage in a concrete cage in Gross Tete, LA. WOW…Tony’s concrete cage got a fresh paint job…well, do you remember my June 9 vids, esp Update Vid 4, www.youtube.com , where I was allowed inside the closed restaurant to see Selena? The restaurant was closed for cleaning. Coincidentally, the Hearing to Order Sandlin to release Tony by the ALDF was scheduled for June 14. But that Hearing was postponed to allow the LDWF more time to DISCOVER Tony’s living conditions. And now the re-scheduled Hearing is set for July 22…and this vid is taken on the 13th of July….and Tony’s cage got a new paint job…go figure!!! Louisiana Wildlife Fisheries Dept did not renew permit that expires Dec 2011 ONLY because of the heat and legal efforts of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. ALDF UPDATE: July 22, 2011 HEARING: POSTPONED June14, 2011 HEARING: POSTPONED June14, 2011: Louisiana Dept of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF) granted CONTINUANCE by the JUDGE so the LDWF could DISCOVER more evidence of Tony’s condition. The LDWF could REVOKE Sandlin’s Permit at any time and Tony would be released and FREE NOW. Why haven’t they done so? They have not renewed the permit, there must have been enough reason to make that decision. How difficult is this, really? The answer: Politics.
