Michael Sandlin filed a Petition In Intervention May 20, 2011, to try to fight the judge’s ruling on May 6, 2011, claiming that the ALDF suit against LA WLF did the following:
- Allowed plaintiffs to present evidence and arguments against the owner of the property without his being a party to the suit violated his state and federal rights to due process;
- Sandlin should be allowed an opportunity to request a change in the regulations;
- Court should not have issued permanent injunction but should have allowed the LDWF to change their regulations;
- Mr. Sandlin claim’s he is entitled to a new trial.
